"Next to yourself, I'm your best customer. In June 2013, I listened to the room you shared at the Newport Beach Show. The superb sound was due to your LKV 2-SB phono stage - I knew the other components, and they weren’t the cause. While it’s difficult to discern a phono stage within a system, the 2-SB provided a lower noise floor.
"Also, as a manufacturing engineer in microwave and aerospace, I understand tuning. Many electronic products have either extra capacitors or parts substituted after assembly into circuits, decreasing their reliability. Other zero-feedback designs aren't as clean as yours. Your technique of using matched components is more costly and requires trustworthy labor, yet is far more reliable. In other words, I wouldn't want to build them.
"Thanks for selling me a 2-SB demo. It was part of my system until a friend visited, listened, and said: "I want your entire system." There went the 2-SB, Ayon Orion 2, and NOLA Contenders. Fortunately, your Verito-1 integrated amp with its phono stage anchored my next set of components.
"Now your Line One and Veros PWR+ have joined it. The sound couldn't be better or more natural. (Shhh. It's a secret - sorry.) Perhaps, most impressive is the Verito-1 used only as a phono stage: pure, discrete Class A. It's a better value as a phono pre-amp than anything near $3,000. Hilariously good. Still, I’m saving my pennies for your best phono stage.
